If eating or drinking, please take a sip/bite and then pull your mask back up. Staff will be making sure that masks are worn. VACCINATION CARDS: Staff will be checking vaccination cards at the entrance of our event. *photos/digital proof of vaccination will be accepted **The only exception to proof of vaccination is medical exemption ENTRY FEE: Trans Art Mark has a established a $5 entry fee for the event, which includes children over 5 years old. You are welcome to pay more or less. No one will be turned away. A portion of our entry fee will go to housingreparationsphilly and carsforphilly VENUE INFO: The market is being held in the West Gym of the Bok Building. Attendee event entrance has been changed to the Bok WKSHP entrance - 821 Dudley St, Philadelphia, PA 19148. There are five steps up from the sidewalk to get to the WKSHP (Dudley) entrance or an ADA lift (750 lbs capacity). We’ve been informed that there is not a push button to open the door at this location. Once attendees are inside the building, they will continue past Two Persons coffee and toward the orange Ambassador desk. They will see signage pointing them toward the West Gym where Trans Art Market is hosted. BATHROOM: All of the restrooms on the first floor are gender neutral however the only ADA restroom will be found in the WRKSHP corridor (before you get to the orange desk). Please note that the “ADA” restroom requires the door be pulled open. GETTING TO BOK: PARKING/PUBLIC TRANSIT Parking in this area can be really difficult, so please plan accordingly. Because on-street parking is limited, we strongly encourage attendees to use an alternative form of transportation, like Uber or public transit. - Closest subway station: Snyder Station - Broad Street Line - Nearby Septa bus routes: 45, 47, 47M, 79 Bicycles: BOK is an Indego bike share location with a kiosk located on the corner of 8th and Mifflin Streets. They also have plenty of bike parking available next to the entrance on 9th Street. MUSIC: We plan to play music via a Spotify playlist throughout the event with a speaker near the balcony. If you have sensory issues, we recommend bringing some earplugs! NOT FEELING WELL? Please STAY HOME if you are sick or if you've been in contact with a sick person- the wellness of our community is the most important. FOOD: While we won’t have any vendors selling food, there is a bakery and cafe within BOK, by the Dudley St entrance: - Two Persons Coffee (coffee shop) - 8am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday - Machine Shop (bakery) - 9am to 2pm. on Saturday and Sunday STAFF: Trans Art Mart will have several workers throughout the day, all of which will be wearing name tags so they are easily identified! |
